About This Game

Ingress is a location-based game where you go outside and play. There are two factions which are Enlightened and Resistance. You move around in real life to go to in-game portals. These portals are at local places of interest. The game involves attacking, defending, and linking these portals - creating so-called fields which are large areas controlled by your faction. Ingress is a unique social experience unlike other games. You will meet people with a common interest in a shared, real-world and digital world.
