The interface of the application is pretty much similar to that of Snapchat. So for those peeps who have used Snapchat in the past, this is no new gimmick. The app opens up with the camera. You can choose to chat, set up stories for your friends to view, use the filters to click funny images or videos, and much more. By swiping either to the left or to the right you can access the featured pages for stories and snaps! The settings option is available via the chat page.

Tapping the capture button allows you to take a snap and a long press or hold will allow you to capture a video. You can get creative by adding filters to your snaps or videos and even add funny and cool lenses. These lenses seem to be in the trend off late. The good thing is, Snow, features a ton of original lenses along with lenses similar to Snapchat, like the dog lens or the face swap lens. Moreover, the app also features various data filters that you can apply on the picture along with the ability to add text, emoji and doodle on a photo. Snow also features a cool GIF mode, which is great considering GIFs are the trend these days on social media.

You can share all your recent trendy snaps or videos to your friends individually or upload one directly onto “My Story”. Add a single or a series of snaps or videos that you have taken in the past 24 hours. Snaps and Videos, uploaded here can be viewed by anyone who has added you to their contact list. One of the major advantages of Snow is that the app lets you share snaps on other social networks like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Line. The snaps added to “My Story” are available for 48 hours, compared to 24 hours on Snapchat. You can also add videos to “LIVE”. This makes them available for 24 hours, after which they disappear from the feed with no history.
