Airbnb App Review

Unforgettable travel experiences start with Airbnb. Find travel adventures and new places to go far away or near to you, and access vacation home rentals, new experiences, and places to visit all around the world. Book everything for your trip, or start earning money as a host.

Airbnb is a website that you can use to search for and book lodging in more than 34,000 cities and 190 countries. The company allows private and professional hosts to rent out their entire residence (a home, apartment, villa, or castle) by night for travelers to use as a place to stay. Some hosts also offer lodging in a shared space. Airbnb was founded in 2008 and is headquartered in San Francisco, California.

What I like about the app’s design is that it is easy to find what you are looking for. The site is well organized, and there are several pictures in the background to make the site look nicer. I also like how selecting your destination will tell you your approximate costs in different currencies in the lower-left corner. I also like how there is a filter button if you are looking for something specific, like whether the place has air-conditioning or not. I also like that there is a section that tells you how easy it is to get to the place from the airport.

What I don’t like about the site is that it takes a while to load, but once it’s fully loaded, it is easy to navigate. I also don’t like that the prices sometimes don’t include all of the taxes. There are sometimes hidden charges that are not disclosed until you book the room.

Airbnb FAQ

Airbnb FAQ

  • How do I book a place on Airbnb?

When you book a place on Airbnb, you’re making arrangements to stay in someone’s home. Each host has their own style of hospitality, starting with how they like to get to know their guests. Some hosts want to approve reservations, while others are comfortable letting you book their place instantly without waiting for approval.

    1. Complete Your Profile

In either case, it’s important to know that Airbnb is a community that relies on trust. Complete your profile before you request a reservation with a host, so they can know a little bit about you when they confirm. Your profile should include photos and verifications, especially because some hosts require guests to have a profile photo or Verified ID in order to book.

    2. Find the Right Place

With over 800,000 unique listings around the world, you’ll want to make sure the place you choose has everything you need for a comfortable and memorable trip.

When searching for a place, be sure to include your dates and number of guests to get the most accurate pricing. Read reviews, descriptions, house rules, and amenities for each place to see if it’s the right fit for your trip. You can always contact the host if you have any questions about their home.

    3. Book It!

You’ve found the perfect place, and now it’s time to make it official. This is where the host’s preferred way of the booking will determine how you’ll confirm your reservation.

    • Instant BookFor hosts who don’t want to approve each reservation, you’ll see a button on their listing that says Instant Book. As the name suggests, you can confirm a reservation at these places right away. Learn more about Instant Book.
    • Request to BookMany hosts prefers to approve reservations before they’re final. In this case, you’ll see a button on their listing that says Request to Book. To submit a reservation request, you’ll need to enter your payment details. Hosts have 24 hours to accept your request, and your reservation is automatically confirmed once they do. Learn more about submitting a reservation request.
    • Pre-approvals and Special offers if you decide to contact the host to ask questions before attempting to book, the host may respond to your message by inviting you to make a reservation with either a pre-approval or Special Offer. A pre-approval is an invitation to finish booking for the dates and number of guests you noted in your message. A Special Offer gives the host the opportunity to provide special pricing, dates, and other reservation details before you book. Learn more about booking a pre-approval or Special Offer.

    • We use Air B&B as often as we can when traveling or staying anywhere. The app make it very easy and convenient.

    • Overall a pretty good experience. I would try to improve the way trips are saved. Also, it would be nice if they figured out a way to keep hosts from gaming the system on the listing. My biggest annoyance is when a place listed as “entire house” is one unit in a compound or an apartment connected to another dwelling. I’m usually looking for privacy when I use that criteria, and it’s easy for hosts to hide that.

    • The app was not user friendly.

    • This is the best app that travelers or tourists might need. The program is stable and fast. I always found the right option for me with a hotel in a few minutes when I was on vacation abroad. With all the advantages, the app takes up little space on your smartphone. Updates occur automatically, unnoticed by me, but I have not noticed that the size has become larger over the years.

    • I really like the Airbnb mobile app because it offers a lot of different filters for finding the perfect place. I also like that there is a profile for each host so it’s easy to review them and find a good fit. I would recommend this app to a friend especially if they’re looking for an apartment to rent.

    • I have only used Airbnb for one occasion so far, but I have found it to be a welcoming site that is easy to use. I use my phone to review and reserve a room, and I have found the notification process works smoothly and lets me know when I need to be available to get into the hotel. I have also found the site to be very welcoming for people in need of housing.

    • This is a great app for finding somewhere to stay. I like how easy it is to find vacation rentals and apartments in any location. What I like most about the app is that it makes it easy to plan a trip or find something last minute if you are in a pinch.

    • The Airbnb mobile app provides a variety of services for travelers, including place-sharing, booking, and reviews. With the application, you can search among listings of houses or rooms in destinations you know. It is available in 190 countries and 37 different languages. Not only does the app allow you to find a suitable place to stay, but also give you information on the host and their property. This app is a great way to find an affordable place to stay while you are traveling.

    • The Airbnb mobile app is great. Mostly it’s a pretty typical well-made app, but with one key difference: it’s location aware. As you’re walking or driving around, you’ll see listings popping up based on how far away they are from where you are. It’s so cool, it’s like virtual property hunting while you’re on the go! I haven’t even looked at the other apps for property hunting, I just go straight for my Airbnb app and I was able to find exactly what I was looking for.
